Description

Displacement is more than a physical journey. It fractures, distorts, and redefines identity. We aim to explore how individuals forced to flee their homes undergo profound internal shifts while attempting to reintegrate to a new unfamiliar environment through both the modern and ancient lens. By examining identity before, during, and after displacement, we trace how memory, trauma, and change shape the reintegration process. This digital exhibit traces how identity continues to shift long after the journey ends using artifacts and personal narratives.
