Trịnh Hảo Tâm donates the flag to the Vietnamese Heritage Museum in Brea, California. 

The flag remains in the possession of Trịnh Hảo Tâm.

In the spring of 1982, Vietnamese students at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California organized a Lunar New Year cultural program to celebrate Tết. 

Trịnh Hảo Tâm serves as President of the Vietnamese Student Association. He commissions a tailor to create the Republic of Vietnam flag specifically for this event.

The flag is displayed on stage during the 1982 New Year celebration.

Brought to the U.S. where Nguyễn Thanh Thủy was resettled under the HO program.

The exact date is unknown, but Trần Trúc Minh immigrated to the United States in the late 1900s and brought the oil lamp with her.

After reuniting with her husband in the United States, Bà Trúc Minh retained the raincoat.

Canteen returned to Bà Trúc Minh upon reuniting with her husband in the United States.

Brought to the United States where the Nguyễn family resettled under the Humanitarian Operation (HO) program in November 1994.
