Canteen bottle processing in Thailand
Stayed in Bangkok, Thailand, for four days to complete medical clearance and other processing requirements.
U.S. military M1961 plastic canteen with nylon cover, manufactured under a 1975 Defense Supply Agency contract. U.S. forces issued these canteens to South Vietnamese soldiers; the plastic design was lighter than the aluminum canteens previously used by the Vietnamese military.
Object donated to the Vietnamese Heritage Museum by Phu Pham

Continued the flight to the United States, changing planes in Japan.
Arrived at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Donated to the Vietnamese Heritage Museum in Garden Grove, California by Mr. Pham Van Loa's son, Mr. Phu Pham, and daughter, Co Khang Thi Pham. (August 2, 2025)
Departed Ho Chi Minh City for the United States with his wife and youngest daughter.
