Undergraduate Research Week 2025: Telling Histories Through Artifacts: A Digital Humanities Approach to Vietnamese Heritage Conservation
Join us at UCLA's Undergraduate Research Week 2025 as our undergraduate research assistant, Mai Vu, presents her work with the Refugee Material Culture Initiative (RMCI), titled "Telling Histories Through Artifacts: A Digital Humanities Approach to Vietnamese Heritage Conservation."
Mai will be presenting in Zoom Session C (3:30–5:00 PM) as part of Panel 2, Presentation #4. Her talk highlights RMCI’s efforts to digitize and preserve Vietnamese refugee artifacts and discusses how this work intersects with themes of community care, displacement, and accessibility in public history.
