Aluminum tabletop stove made in a "re-education camp" by Trần Chí Hiếu during his imprisonment in the Bưng Sẫm "re-education" camp in Vĩnh Long province from 1975-1980. The stove is made of three distinct components: the bottom piece which served as the kerosene box, the middle which consisted of the cover for the bottom piece and small tubes for inserting the wick, and the top, which held the flame. The metal components consisted of bomb fragments, barbed wire, and a Guigoz milk can. It took over a month to make this stove.
